Beautiful rural surroundings, secluded location, spacious family room, clean and comfortable, ample free parking, short drive to motorway.
Can’t fault the property in any way.

The location of the hotel is simply breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful rural surroundings and a lovely river and gardens. the rooms are old-fashioned but spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a big shower with plenty of hot water. the staff is very helpful and the breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options including meats, cheeses, cereals, and an assortment of croissants and rolls.
The communication and check-in process could use some improvement.

Lovely quiet location in rural surroundings perfect for escaping the city. Plenty of free parking and only a short drive from the motorway. the breakfast spread was delicious and kept us full until lunchtime.
Check-in was a bit of a nightmare, with no staff at the desk and confusing instructions on how to call for assistance. the room was a bit outdated and the spiral staircase was definitely not kid-friendly, which made me worry about my little ones the whole time.

I had a great surprise when I arrived as I was booked into a family room with a kitchenette. The room was a duplex with a terrace overlooking the river and gardens. It was spotlessly clean and had a big shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options including meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel had ample free parking.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good value for money, with plenty of options available to suit all tastes. There was ample parking available on site, and the location was peaceful and secluded, yet not too far from local amenities.
Nobody was available on reception, and there were no signs in English to help us find our way around. The spiral staircase was a hazard, especially for children, and the decor was outdated and shabby.
